Nature is full of surprises and evidently this Nine tentacled Octopus is one of them. Its quite amazing.

Unfortunately this specimen was boiled, sold, and most likely eaten. But given the fact that a cornflake shaped like Illinois sold on e-bay for $1350, I’d say the chef should have sold this thing on E-bay too. It would surely have drawn a bid of several thousand from some crazy buyer. I guess you can’t really call it an octopus, since octo implies eight legs. Should mutations of this sort be given their own species or sub-species? This may be a rare nano-pus.
