Yes, word is out that this Friday(tomorrow), a live alien will be shown in Denver to the news media. A man named Jeff Peckman is pushing to create a commission on extra-terrestrial affairs in order to deal with future close encounters with non-human types. When Peckman goes before the city council, he will show the video. The public will not have to wait too long as there will be a public meeting in Colorado Springs for a month. |
Now this sounds like a bunch of baloney to me. For a huge matter like contact with an alien species or government, why would the Denver city council take care of it? I think it would be addressed, perhaps secretly with someone slightly more important — say the president of the United States. I’m sure everyone would agree that establishing a friendly relation with a species that is obviously superior to us and probably has the ability to completely wipe us out is just as if not more important than whether Clinton or Obama will win the democratic nomination next month. Why would they release a public statement about the matter? I’m sure the government could cover this up a lot better if they had wanted to. This all smells fake and reeks of a publicity that the city is trying to pull in order to draw attention. I wonder how many legos they will invest in making the fake flying saucer.
