A few more details on the olympic opening ceremony

So since we had a first-row ticket to the 3rd and final practice opening ceremony for the Beijing Olympics, I can confidently say that is was freaking amazing. No, I don’t have any pictures to leak(the photo on the left is the opening for the 1996 Olympics), but I will tell you that you won’t be disappointed in two days when you see it. I can give a few more details though. There are lots of drummers and some performers are going to be descending from the top of the stadium. There are going to be thousands, if not tens of thousands of performers in all.

Yes, the holographic humpback whales are going to be there as the Korean photos leaked but that is only a tiny part of what the opening ceremony will be like. There will be lots of singing as the main song will be a Chinese singer paired with an english one(CCTV announced this today). Another thing is Jackie Chan will be performing and singing. Thankfully, he’ll be singing in Chinese as I doubt he would sing that well in English. The music from the ceremony was fantastic and having a front-row seat I can safely say it was the best spectacle I’ve seen in my life. Beijing sure went the extra mile to put up something like this and the world won’t be disappointed.
